Welcome to Barnum Equestrian Center at Wesley Woods. We are located about ten minutes southwest of Indianola, Iowa, or 20 minutes south of Des Moines. We offer horseback riding lessons, therapeutic riding, and trail rides. We also host organizations like Girl Scouts who want to learn a little more about horses during their day trip or overnight stay. Our facility is a fantastic venue for horse shows, clinics, or saddle club outings.
Girl Scouts
We partner with Girl Scout troops to provide an experience that fulfills several badge work requirements. The experience lasts 3 hours. Riders learn about safety, grooming and saddling, and get to practice skills in the arena and on a trail ride. Learn More >
